Drive for Humanity is more than just an exclusive gathering of luxury car enthusiasts; it exemplifies how the privileged can unite to support those in need. On Sunday, 18 August, the IBV Supercar Club’s Drive for Humanity, proudly presented by Title Sponsor IBV Wealth Club, took participants on a scenic route to Pont de Val. This celebrated event, known for its unique fusion of high-octane excitement and charitable endeavour, was a tremendous success.

Enthusiasts and philanthropists came together for a day of opulence and generosity, with the spotlight on supporting UNICEF, the chosen charity for this drive. The event highlighted the power of luxury and compassion combined, demonstrating a remarkable commitment to making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

The day kicked off at Fouche Motors Sandton, where participants enjoyed a light breakfast and registration while mingling with fellow car enthusiasts. As the sun rose higher, the convoy of gleaming Supercars departed for the picturesque Pont de Val. The journey was a spectacle of automotive excellence, showcasing the power and precision of these extraordinary vehicles.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a refreshing cocktail and the enchanting melodies of saxophonist Rike Coetzer. The afternoon continued with a sumptuous three-course lunch, accompanied by engaging talks from representatives of IBV Wealth Club and Armoured Mobility.

The event was not only a celebration of Supercars but also a testament to community and camaraderie. Attendees were treated to complimentary massages from Electro Medics and participated in exciting lucky draw prizes. In honour of Women’s Month, all ladies received a special skincare hamper from Elizabeth Arden, adding a touch of elegance to the day.
